THE ORPHANS
Committed (Handed over to us) by the Govt. of Maharashtra at a tender age of 5 years (even above) we first get the boy admitted to a school as per his age. “Every boy in the orphanage goes to school” and after completing the Board’s Exam (Class 10) is sent for a Certificate Course (Vocational Training) in Saboo Siddiq Polytechnic where he gets trained to secure a job to earn bread for himself and his widowed mother.
Boys who perform well in the Board’s Exam go for higher studies in Junior Colleges so that they could complete their graduation.
An orphan thus spends about 10 to 12 years in the orphanage where he is provided all his needs of:
- Education
- Lodging
- Boarding with Food
- Clothes, Shoes and Uniforms
- Medical Care
- Physical Training and Sports
“ALL PROVIDED TOTALLY AND ABSOLUTELY FREE”
The Orphan’s widowed mother has to pay “NOTHING” right from the day of admission of her son till she takes him back an adult, educated and employed young man and a law abiding citizen of India!
Note: For all the needs provided to the orphans “SEPARATE REGISTERS” are maintained and labelled:

- Stationery Register
- Clothing and bedding Register
- Sanitation Register
- Medical Register
- Food Register
Distribution Of Monthly Ration And Clothes
We provide ration on a monthly basis to about 100 families comprising of rice, wheat flour, pulses and sugar.
The stock is regularly replenished by our donors.
Clothes are distributed to the poor both men and women in the month of Ramzan.
Education In Our Own Schools
School Building at Mira Road
Girls Division
We have our own schools situated in Madanpura, Byculla and Nayanagar Mira Road East where efficient teachers provide education to boys and girls enabling them to become doctors and engineers to serve the Nation.
Our school in Mira road is a Semi-English school where Maths and Science are taught in the English language. Teaching and nonteaching staff of about 80 works dedicatedly despite about half of them not yet getting a government salary.
Our qualified, committed and dedicated teachers have spent their life with us providing education to children to build a strong Nation.
Special arrangements are made for Extra Coaching classes during vacation for class 10 students to attain efficiency in Maths and Science which are taught in English Medium.
So as to get prepared for college studies English Speaking Classes are held for Class 9 and Class 10 students.

Empowerment Of Women Through
farooquaiah Industrial Home
Our Industrial Home provides a Government of Maharashtra recognized Diploma by training boys and girls in Cutting, Sewing, Embroidery and Fashion Designing thus empowering the poor boys and girls to be able to earn for their family.
Community Hall For Functions And Weddings
Our Community Hall is a place to have a wedding and other family functions helping the economically backward to avoid heavy expenses. It is also used for “Adult Education of Women” and “Centre of Vaccination” for children.

Computer Training Classes
Space for new Computer Class in Mumbai
A computer training class comprising of 54 computers along with display screen for practical demonstration and teaching is in Mira Road imparting technical education to boys and girls.
A new computer training class is planned to be established in Mumbai on the terrace floor of the orphanage building.
