URGENT REPAIRS – Of the Orphanage building in Madanpura-Mumbai.

The Old Orphanage Building in Madanpura, Byculla, Mumbai constructed in 1967, comprises of: –

1. The Head Office (1^st Floor)
2. The intended “Huffaz Center” ( 1st Floor)
3. The Recreation and Activity Hall for the Orphans (1st Floor)
4. Madrasa-I-FarooqiahUrdu Primary School 1st to 4th (2nd Floor)
5. Farooqiah Industrial Home for girls and boys.(Sewing, Stitching, Cutting, Embroidery and Fashion Design) (3rd Floor)
6. Boys Orphanage and Dormitory (4th& 5th Floors)
7. The terrace that needs to be covered to establish New Computer Class (6^th Floor)

The Present deteriorated condition (as Shown above) of the building constructed more than 50 years back had “Structural Audit” conducted by M/s Maharaja Architects Pvt. Ltd dated 1^st May 2019 as per which the building needs

1. Removal of external wall plaster and re-plastering of the wall comprising of about 5000 sq. ft. with Micro and Polymer Coating
2. Anti-rust treatment of the old iron rods and iron net along with reinforcement of the Pillar with new steel from outside comprising of about 5000 sq. ft. work.
3. Polymer and micro coating of the Pillars with new steel enforcement and chemical anti-rust treatment from inside the building comprising of 5000 sq. ft. of work
4. Treatment and Plastering of inner beams of the building
5. Plumbing work and Tiling Work of the toilets and washrooms on all 6 floors including the ground floor.
6. Water Proofing chips work on the terrace.
7. Extended balcony work on both sides on the 1^st floor and its new roofing work.

This entire repair is estimated to cost about Rs. 1 Crore.
